With the price cap increasing this month, here are some of the ways we're supporting both our customers and UK new energy as a whole.

• E.ON UK has today announced it has signed an agreement to fully acquire Eco2Solar, the UK market leader in residential solar installations for property developers and new-build housing.  

E.ON Next has expanded its tariff portfolio, introducing new tariffs which offer households the ability to save against the new Energy Price Cap. The price cap has risen to £1,849 for the average household using gas and electricity for the period April to June 2025.

With 2025 now well under way, it’s only a few short months before the Government holds its next spending review in June and has the opportunity to deliver a fairer and more sustainable energy market for the UK.

With record levels of energy debt in the sector, there is an ever-growing need for a lasting solution – for both the most vulnerable customers, who are without any realistic means of paying, and for the industry as a whole.
