Glennis Grimsby

Helping customers like Glennis

We’re committed to improving the energy efficiency of homes up and down the country, from Coventry to Immingham, to help people like Glennis experience the benefits of living in a more energy efficient and warmer home.

We’ve been working closely with Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) to upgrade hundreds of homes in Immingham and Grimsby using the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF).

We couldn’t be prouder of the work our team has done with LHP. Our Green Funding Solutions team are delivering one of the UK’s largest external wall insulation projects. With over 730 homes benefitting from improved insulation, the project has made an enormous difference to hundreds of people across Immingham and Grimsby.

The difference this project has made to these communities cannot be understated. Homes are feeling warmer and are less expensive to heat. Plus, our team has also taken the opportunity to improve the look of these buildings, replacing the old grey pebbledash walls with a fresh white render.

We’re helping people like Glennis who recently had external wall insulation installed by our Green Funding Solutions team. We recently spoke to Glennis from Grimsby to learn more about her experience of improving the energy efficiency of her home and the benefits she’s already seeing.

And we’re proud that our work with LHP has received national recognition, having won the Green Homes Upgrade of the Year award at the Unlock Net Zero Awards and Insulation and Fabric Project of the Year at the National Energy Efficiency Awards.
