E.ON Next’s Chief Operating Officer crowned Utilities Businesswoman

E.ON Next’s Chief Operating Officer, Ramona Vlasiu, has been named Utilities Businesswoman at the Great British Businesswoman Awards ceremony last night.

The awards aim to recognise and celebrate the inspiring businesswomen who are transforming industries, creating impact in their communities and building successful companies across the United Kingdom. The Great British Businesswoman Awards are also a reminder of the importance of female representation in industries like finance, technology and engineering.

With more than 10 years of experience at E.ON UK, Ramona was appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer of E.ON Next in 2022. She is also a Board Member at E.ON UK.

Chris Norbury, Chief Executive Officer at E.ON UK, said: “I am delighted Ramona has won this award as a recognition for her commitment to our industry. Having worked with Ramona for the past seven years, I have witnessed not only her dedication to her career, but her focus on supporting colleagues and doing the best for our customers.

E.ON Next was recently named the Diversity and Inclusion champion at the Utility Awards 2024.
