BAFTA-winning actor Toby Jones to voice ‘The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds – The Next Generation’

Toby Jones will voice the recently announced social-first series from Channel 4, in partnership with E.ON Next.

Channel 4 has announced that BAFTA winning actor, Toby Jones is coming on board as the voiceover artist for the recently announced social-first series ‘The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds – The Next Generation’. He will guide us through the series as viewers gain insight into the behaviours and interactions of a new generation of children.

Partnering with E.ON Next, The Secret Life of 5 Year Olds – The Next Generation is produced by Banijay UK’s DSP, with a special episode having kicked off the series on Channel 4’s YouTube on the 26th July and new episodes available from 9th September on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This enables viewers to discover broadcast quality beyond traditional TV at anytime, anywhere, and on any platform.

Exploring children’s awareness of climate concerns and eco-anxiety and how to drive real societal change in the future, this partnership with E.ON Next was brokered by Channel 4 Sales alongside agency Mindshare and builds on Channel 4’s pioneering partnership with YouTube established in 2022 which was the first of its kind in the UK.
