E.ON to bolster development of net-zero carbon solutions for UK businesses through BFY Carbon Strategies partnership

E.ON UK and BFY Carbon Strategies consultancy have joined forces to drive net-zero solutions across major sectors. The partnership combines BFY’s expertise in bespoke decarbonisation outcomes and E.ON’s capabilities in delivering and financing cutting-edge energy projects for businesses

E.ON UK and specialist decarbonisation consultancy, BFY Carbon Strategies (BFY), have today announced a partnership that will help to develop solutions to decarbonise businesses with multiple sites across the UK.

The partnership comes at a critical time, as businesses and Government seek scalable solutions to achieve net zero goals. An aspiration which spans the retail, hospitality, healthcare and industrial sectors, together with a solution which offers a full end-to-end service for UK companies with the appetite and opportunity to decarbonise their operations at greater scale.

The highly specialised service will provide UK businesses with the chance to work with experts bound by the same goal – to make new energy work though lower costs, providing energy security, and delivering decarbonisation goals for their customers.

Chris Norbury

Chris Norbury, Chief Executive of E.ON UK said: “For multi-site businesses with a drive to decarbonise, our partnership with BFY Carbon Strategies brings in their consultancy expertise and strengthens our decarbonisation offering to customers. Through collaboration together, as a new energy playmaker, we will further empower businesses to achieve their net-zero goals, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy future across the UK.”

Ian Barker, Managing Partner of BFY Group added: “This partnership marks a significant step towards helping businesses to achieve the rate of decarbonisation needed as part of our national net-zero strategy. By combining our strategic expertise in decarbonisation with E.ON’s own capabilities, we are setting the stage for a new wave of innovation in carbon reduction across some of the UK's most prominent multi-estate clients.”

The partnership will combine E.ON’s multi-sector skillset across net zero technologies like industrial solar panels, heat pumps and energy management systems with BFY’s consultancy expertise as a net-zero delivery partner – to help businesses to cut costs and decarbonise.
