E.ON Next joins forces with Zoom EV to drive forward new benefits and discounts for EV drivers
E.ON Next has partnered with Zoom EV to enable customers with electric vehicles to save money on their motoring costs by taking advantage of a range of benefits and discounts.
E.ON Next has partnered with Zoom EV to enable customers with electric vehicles (EV) to save money on their motoring costs by taking advantage of a range of benefits and discounts as well as access to EV experts and information, all through one customised dashboard.
EV owners signing up to the E.ON Next Drive tariff will now get one year’s free subscription to the service, enabling them to benefit from savings on public charging, E.ON’s home charging, nationwide parking access, vehicle maintenance and accessories, plus more services to come.
The move is intended to help customers to get more from their EV and to further drive the take-up of cleaner motoring through a benefits package integrated with a competitive EV tariff. Furthermore, it provides one fully customised dashboard for customers to consistently navigate back to offers and prize draws which are built into their dashboards.
Julian Lennertz, Chief Operating Officer for E.ON Next, said: “At E.ON Next, we’re always looking for innovative ways to help our customers consider more sustainable options – and the way we travel is a key part of that. I’m proud that we’re delivering for our customers and being a ‘playmaker’ by taking positive action to help our customers become more sustainable.
“The future of driving is electric, and that’s why we already offer an incredibly competitive tariff designed specifically for EV drivers, which offers one of the longest off-peak periods available today. And now, by partnering Zoom EV we’re able to make drivers’ EV experiences even more affordable and more rewarding. Together with our customers and our partners, we’re creating a new energy world and making the decarbonisation of driving an effortless, accessible and affordable option for all.”
The E.ON Next Drive tariff allows customers to save money on charging their EVs overnight, with a cheaper charging rate of 6.9p per kWh between 12am and 7am. The tariff also comes with 100% renewable electricity at no extra cost1, fixed energy prices for one year and no exit fees.
Greg Fairbotham, CEO of Zoom EV, said “We’re incredibly excited to launch our partnership with E.ON Next and help them do even more for customers who are transitioning to EVs. Our ecosystem solution has been built to enable organisations like E.ON Next to provide customers with access to leading EV services in a connected and seamless way, connect with experts for guidance and access information – all on one fully customised dashboard. E.ON Next is incredibly focused on helping its customers and there are some exciting plans already in the works to do even more.”
