E.ON Next continues partnership with Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest has announced a continuation of its relationship with E.ON with the launch of the Club’s training wear for the 2024/25 season.

Nottingham Forest has announced a continuation of its relationship with E.ON with the launch of the Club’s training wear for the 2024/25 season.

The brand-new adidas training wear will feature the E.ON Next logo across the men’s first team, women’s first team and retail kit.

E.ON became Forest’s Official Training Wear Partner last July ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, having been the Club’s Official Sustainability Partner since 2021.

Paul Bell, Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Forest, said: “We are hugely proud of our partnership with E.ON and excited to be wearing the E.ON Next brand across all Training Wear for the 24/25 season.

“The relationship has allowed us to make some fantastic progress in the last year building a more sustainable Nottingham Forest and we can't wait to continue on that journey.”

Scott Somerville, Director of External Affairs at E.ON UK, said: “E.ON Next is the playmaker of the energy transition and I’m proud of all the steps we’re taking to make new energy work and all of the efforts we’ve made – and will continue to make – as part of the sustainability journey of the Forest teams, their fans, and the wider city.

“As a City Ground season ticket holder myself, I’m very aware of the role that football clubs, especially Forest, have at the heart of their communities and how they can inspire people on the pitch and in their daily lives, which is why it means so much to us to help the club and to spread that message even wider.”

Highlights of the sustainability partnership include a brand-new solar-powered Fan Zone, which has proven to be a popular match-day destination for Forest fans since its opening in December.

Other successes include removing all plastic straws, single-use cups and cutlery from the stadium, giving supporters a discount in the club store if they have travelled to a home first-team fixture on public transport, and achieving zero waste going to landfill during October 2023 and January 2024.

Forest's commitment to sustainability has already been recognised by Sport Positive, who support the global sports community to increase ambition and take action on climate change and sustainability.

The Club recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with E.ON as it looks to continue promoting greater sustainability at both The City Ground and Nigel Doughty Academy.
